ciple of Swami Dayananda Saraswatiji is holding series of talks on the Bhagvad Geeta (Chapter VI) from May 3rd to May 9th, 2009.
The talks will start at 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the R V Teacher’s College, Ashoka Pillar Road, Jayanagar 2nd block, Bangalore-560011.
Morning talks on Maneesha Panchakam will be held from May 4th to May 9th, starting 7:00 am till 8:00 am at MES Kishore Kendra School, 13th Cross, 10th main, Malleswaram, Bangalore-03.

Welcome to Arsha Vidya Sevashram, dear brothers and sisters.
Our time here on earth is indeed a short one and an extremely long and winding, all at the same time!
We wonder ABOUT OUR PURPOSE ON EARTH, (off and on, between periods of working hard in the office, in school, college, or at home, taking care of children or our elderly!
But knowing that purpose is most often met with little or no success. That’s one of the reasons for the steady decline of religious enquiry and understanding. We are drifting away from within our Center, our CORE and trying to grasp and ponder about all that exists at eye level or beyond the horizonm! Yes such are our endeavors today. We may like to call it pursuit of the Scientific spirit or being ‘modern’ and civilized, but the truth remains that we ALL are running away from The Truth!
And just what is the Truth?
That my friends is exactly what our purpose on earth is (or at least one part of it!)
Scriptures such as the Ramayana , Vedas, Upanishads, The Bhagvad Gita, all help us know about the Truth and the Untruth.
Swami Chidatmanandaji gives an example from the Gita which translates thus, ”The absolute (Atma) was there or existed, is there or exists and will be there or will exist ; whereas the impermanent (AnAtma) was never there or never existed, is not there or does not exist and will not be there or will never exist in the future. Such is the case of the Atma (the Soul) and the AnAtma (the Body and anything and everything that is not the Self or Atma)!
Swami Chidatmanandaji has been spreading the word and message of the Scriptures
(Sruti Vakya) in Bangalore since 15 years. Scores of individuals from all walks of life, career and spiritual persuasions have benefited from the deep understanding and insight of Swami Chidatmanandaji through the numersou lectures and classes conducted by him in parts of bangalore such as Malleswaram, JP Nagar, Koramangala, Rsamanashree nagar, Bannerghatta Road, etc.
